Art Brussels 2019

 

acb proudly presents a solo presentation of Imre Bak (b. 1939, Hungary), prominent figure of the Hungarian neo-avant-garde generation and abstract geometric painting. From his rich and multi-faceted painting program, acb’s booth at Art Brussels' Rediscovery section will highlight Bak’s late ’70s and late ’80s period, where basic geometric forms and their postmodern reinterpretation deliver Bak’s ideas on space, dynamism, variability and history. Bak’s Bauhaus-triptych, which is the center-piece of acb’s presentation, will give an hommage to the movement that celebrates its centenary.
